Rehoboth Real Estate ownership.
Rehoboth Real Estate   Rehoboth, Massachusetts is is about 9 miles east of Taunton; 13 miles north of Fall River; 42 miles south of Boston; and 186 miles from New York City. Its total area is 46.78 square miles and Rehoboth's current population is about 10,000 residents.

Rehoboth is located in Bristol County and is one of Massachusetts’s oldest and most historic towns. Rehoboth was first established in 1643, originally a part of the Plymouth Colony. Currently, Rehoboth is a small suburban town located in southeastern Massachusetts. Rehoboth was the birthplace of public education in North America and today still has an excellent educational system.

The Hornbine School was built in 1845-46 as one of Rehoboth's 15 one-room schools. It offered an education through grade 9. It was enlarged in the 1920's but ceased to be used in 1937 when the number of school districts in Rehoboth was reduced to three. The building and land were auctioned off and after serving a variety of uses, finally fell vacant.

The Hornbine School Association bought and restored the school as part of Rehoboth's 325th Anniversary celebration in 1968. Because the original desks had been broken up for metal during World War II, replacements were gathered from a variety of locales. The teacher's desk, however, is from a Rehoboth school.

The Hornbine School is visited by Rehoboth's third graders and by students from nearby towns as part of their local history education. It is also open to the public at scheduled times.

The Taunton-Attleboro region, where Rehoboth is located, has excellent highway facilities. Interstate 495, especially well designed south of Boston, provides access to Interstate 90 to the northwest and to U.S. Route 6, the Mid-Cape Highway, to the southeast. Interstate 95 and the Fall River Expressway (State Route 24) provide access to the airport, port, and Inter modal facilities of Boston and Providence.

Rehoboth has resisted development and has virtually no industry, making Rehoboth a quiet, "bedroom" community noted for its golf courses.

Rehoboth home prices range from $200,000 to $1 million plus and offers an array of single-famlity home styles.
